Bob Chapek has reaffirmed that The Book of Boba Fett will release this year.

During Disney’s latest earnings call, Chapek briefly discussed shows releasing on Disney+ later this year. The Marvel Studios series Hawkeye was recently announced to be releasing on November 24th, this along with Ms. Marvel seemingly being delayed into next year when originally it was due to release ahead of Hawkeye got Star Wars fans a bit worried regarding the Boba Fett release window.

Chapek mentioned The Book of Boba Fett and Hawkeye when discussing 2021 series, but didn’t mention Ms. Marvel

It shouldn’t be much of a shock that the series is still on course for this year. Stars of the series Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen have both said the series was due later in year after wrapping production. Executive producer Dave Filoni mentioned in May that they were still due to release this year. However it is comforting hearing it from the CEO of the Walt Disney Company.
