Some apparent concept art from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series has leaked along with an artists rendering of set images.
StarWarsNewsNet have released several images focusing on Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series. SWNN claim that they’ve been given a piece of concept art made for the production featuring Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader and they’ve also had an artist give a rendition of set images that were sent to the website.
There is no current way to verify the images at this time, but as I always say – look at track records. StarWarsNewsNet were one of the top tier sources for leaks during The Force Awakens and their output since regarding live-action content hasn’t been as fruitful or as often, but if I cover it then it’s because I personally trust it.
The first image is apparently concept art specifically made for the upcoming Kenobi series according to SWNN’s source. The image showcases Hayden Christensen as Vader inside of a Bacta Tank wearing a breathing apparatus. SWNN state that the image isn’t a render, it’s exactly how the image was given to them.

The second image is an artistic rendition of what appears to be a pretty huge bacta tank. SWNN say that they had an artist mock up the image based on a set photo they were sent.

SWNN also mocked up a rendering of another set photo, this time focusing on a prop – Vader’s breathing apparatus that he seems to wear when inside of the Bacta tank. As you can tell it’s strikingly similar to the apparent concept art image SWNN were sent.

I think many of us naturally assumed that once Kathleen Kennedy specifically stated that Hayden was playing Darth Vader, we were going to see him out of the mask/helmet and possibly out of the suit. Vader being inside of a Bacta tank, healing and meditating feels like a natural fit for the series and something I believe we’d all love to see given this time around it WILL be Hayden.
