Disney have given a release window to the much anticipated Rogue One spin-off series focusing on Cassian Andor.

During Disney’s earnings call today, it was revealed that Andor would be releasing in the fourth fiscal quarter of 2022, which means it’ll release between July 1st and September 30th next year. Disney also confirmed that the delayed Marvel Studios series, Ms. Marvel would release in the same quarter.

Having a release window is good news, we finally and officially know when to anticipate the series. It’s also good to know regarding other Star Wars projects. I was always told that the order of release would be Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor and then The Mandalorian season three. Disney confirming Andor’s fiscal Q4 2022 release maybe tells us to expect Kenobi earlier than that.

It’s important to remember Disney’s fiscal year begins in October, unlike the calendar year which begins in January. Many outlets and Twitter folk are running with the late 2022 release for Andor due to this. If you see these errors, please refer this information to fellow fans.

An actor attached to Ms. Marvel previously claimed that the series was looking to release around June or July and the series consists of six episodes, so we’re more than likely getting Andor after it sometime in late August or September, which is what I’ve been saying I’ve heard on my podcast (BOB The Podcast) for quite some time.

Andor is the series I’m most anticipating from Star Wars thanks to the incredible talent attached and the minor tidbits I’ve heard regarding the show. I’m beyond excited to see it on our screens in less than a years time.

Disney Plus Day is this Friday and there’s a possibility we get to hear or see more from Andor, The Book of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi on that day. Be sure to check back here for all the announcements or better yet, sign up to our mailing list and you won’t miss a single thing.
