Disney has released the first trailer and poster for the upcoming Disney+ series, The Book of Boba Fett, which premieres December 29th.

After much anticipation, Lucasfilm have finally released the first trailer for The Book of Boba Fett. Rumours flooded Twitter yesterday that a trailer would be releasing this week. Big Screen Leaks was first to hint at the release before myself and various other insiders backed up that we’d been hearing the same. You can check out the trailer below!

The trailer is much more of a teaser than a full blown trailer, but with the series almost two months out it’s more than enough to wet fans appetite. Personally I believe most of trailer are scenes from the first episode releasing on December 29th. Unsurprisingly most of the action centres on Tatooine and the fallout of Boba killing Bib Fortuna at the end of The Mandalorian season two.

Alongside the official trailer, Lucasfilm and Disney released the second poster for the series which you can see below.

The Book of Boba Fett is being show-run by Robert Rodriguez, most known for his films Sin City, Spy Kids, From Dusk Till Dawn and Alita: Battle Angel, who also directed Chapter 14: The Tragedy of The Mandalorian. Rodriguez is also acting as an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Carrie Beck and Colin Wilson. Episodes of the series will be directed by Rodriguez, Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Lion King, Elf), Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian) and Bryce Dallas Howard (The Mandalorian), the latter we first exclusively broke on our podcast.

Boba Fett is one of my favourite characters and I can’t wait to dive into this series in December. I’ve personally been hearing some truly exciting things in regards to the series and if true, fans will be over the moon (that’s no moon). If I can get more confirmation, then I’ll release said details, but get ready.
