We’ve been hearing rumours that Quantic Dream have been working on a Star Wars video game and now we may have some new details.

According to video games journalist and well known insider, Jeff Grubb, the Quantic Dream Star Wars video game is titled Star Wars: Eclipse and will be set during the High Republic era. Grubb didn’t provide any additional details, but stressed that this is currently a rumour.

Little is known about Eclipse, but previous reports claimed that the title would stray away from the usual interactive storytelling and quick time event driven games QD typically make such as Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human. Instead the title will feature more traditional action gameplay, possibly open-world and could include multiplayer elements per a report from Kotaku in September.

The official Star Wars website teased a video game announcement for December 14th as part of their Bring Home the Bounty promotional campaign, so maybe there’s a chance that is when Eclipse, if real, could be announced or maybe even at The Game Awards which takes place just a few days before on December 10th.
