Following yesterdays announcement of a showcase featuring Obi-Wan Kenobi, Andor, and The Mandalorian, LucasFilm have announced a new panel focusing on the past and future of The Mandalorian, Mando+.

The Mando+ panel kicks off on Saturday, May 28th, and will see the return of The Mandalorian creator, Jon Favreau, and executive producer, Dave Filoni. Lucasfilm promises the duo will be joined by some special guests for a look back on the first to seasons, and what’s to come in the future. Lucasfilm didn’t provide any additional details including a time, but this is the second panel the studio has officially announced, the first being a coming soon showcase on Thursday May 26th.

I’m very curious as to what Jon and Dave will discuss about the future of the series given the coming soon panel days before which boasted featuring The Mandalorian. Given the name, Mando+, I wonder if the duo will discuss The Mandalorian spin-off series such as The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka, which begins filming in a couple of weeks or perhaps even announce additional spin-off series or a second season for Fett. Though not part of the ‘MandoVerse’, Favreau is rumoured to be producing the unannounced series, Grammar Rodeo (working title), which is set to begin filming in June, so I wonder if Favreau and Lucasfilm could announce the series officially during Mando+, or at the Thursday panel.

The Mandalorian recently wrapped filming its third season and has been long rumoured to be releasing towards the tail end of this year, though Lucasfilm have not confirmed a release window for the highly anticipated series.
