Lucasfilm have really got the ball rolling the past couple of days with announcements of panels for the upcoming Star Wars Celebration taking place in Anaheim from May 26th until the 29th. Earlier today Lucasfilm announced Mando+, a panel with The Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau and executive producer Dave Filoni, and now shortly after Lucasfilm have announced a panel for Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

The Bad Batch panel is slated for the final day of Star Wars Celebration- Sunday, May 29th. The panel will be hosted by David Collins who’ll be joined by executive producers of the animated series, Brad Rau, and Jen Corbett, story editor Matt Michnovetz and actors Dee Bradley Baker (voice of the Bad Batch and Crosshair) and Michelle Ang (voice of Omega) to discuss both season one of the Disney Plus exclusive series, and the upcoming much anticipated second season.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch debuted in May last year, and announced a second season last summer, but since the announcement there’s been no official word of the season, including a release window, from Lucasfilm. Star Wars Insider magazine listed the second season for Spring of this year, but shortly after removed Spring in follow-up issues with the release left with a 2022 release year.

Fans of the series have been desperate for news on the second season, and thankfully they don’t have to wait much longer it seems. Currently Lucasfilm have only announced the date on the panel, a time will be announced at a later date.
