Today sort of feels like Star Wars Celebration with all this Star Wars news being released in the Star Wars Vanity Fair piece, and within said piece it’s been confirmed that the highly anticipated third season of The Mandalorian will hit our screens in either late 2022 or early 2023, but gave no additional details on the upcoming third season. However the piece does contain interviews with creator Jon Favreau, executive producer Dave Filoni, and Din Djarin himself, Pedro Pascal.

The news of the release window of the series isn’t anything new, and has been reported by myself and other reporters for quite some time, but it’s fantastic to finally get confirmation from Lucasfilm and Disney themselves on the matter. The Mandalorian began filming in late September last year and ran until the end of March.

Many details on the upcoming season has leaked, and though I won’t don’t into great here, it’s rumoured to see the return of IG-11 in a very unexpected way along with the addition of Praetorian Guards from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. You can easily find Mando season three details by searching The Mandalorian on this site or clicking The Mandalorian tag, and in my opinion the leaks for the highly anticipated third season are quite juicy and very exciting.
