With Obi-Wan Kenobi airing weekly, Andor mere months away, and Ahsoka in production, rumblings on Leslye Headlands The Acolyte series have been quiet. However new rumours suggest that some ‘legends’ may be making an appearance of sorts in the upcoming streaming series.

According to The Disinsider Show, multiple fan-favourites are set to appear in the upcoming Disney+ series, The Acolyte. When discussing who they’d like to see play Qui-Gon Jinn, one of the hosts mentioned Keanu Reeves (The Matrix, John Wick) and followed up by saying that he’d rather see him play Darth Revan, a popular fan-cast, before saying, “I hear they’re going to bring in a lot of these legends, Darth Bane, Darth Nihilus, Darth Malak, Darth uh…Revan, all in Star Wars: Acolyte, so we’ll see.”

Though the hosts did not reveal in what way the Sith Lords would appear, I suspect many fans will assume a physical appearance, though it’s a possibility there’s also chances that the appearances may just be flashbacks, messages in holocrons, dark illusions as Bane appeared to Yoda in The Clone Wars, or perhaps even as statues like in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The Acolyte is set during the high republic era, and will focus on the emergence of the darkside of the force. Details on the series are locked down, but Amandla Stenberg (Bodies, Bodies, Bodies) is rumoured to be the lead with shooting set to begin in October at Pinewood Studios, London, and will film until May of 2023.
