Since rumblings of the mysterious Grammar Rodeo project first arose a few months ago, I’ve been reporting that the series, officially titled Skeleton Crew, was due to begin filming sometime in June and would film until December of this year. I can finally reveal that Skeleton Crew is filming.

Skeleton Crew started filming from around the end of June at Manhattan Beach Studios and will also film at both an unknown studio in Culver City, and at California State University in Dominguez Hills later sometime in the shoot. Unfortunately I’ve got no further details on the Skeleton Crew production to share at this moment in time, but it’s nice to hear that shooting has started and that all seems to be going well.

Skeleton Crew joins Ahsoka filming in Manhattan Beach Studios, which housed the productions of The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi and The Book of Boba Fett. As I previously mentioned, Skeleton Crew will also be filming at an unknown studio in Culver City, and at California State University in Dominguez Hills whilst Ahsoka will film at both Manhattan Beach Studios, and the train yard location in El Segundo which was used for all three seasons of The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Skeleton Crew is set to release sometime next year and was created by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Far From Home) and Christopher Ford (Chaos Walking, Spider-Man: Homecoming), with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni onboard as executive producers. Watts and Ford are the only known director and writers on the series, with Jude Law (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, Captain Marvel) the only known cast member. Skeleton Crew was described as being inspired by 1980’s Amblin productions, and will focus on a group of kids lost in space trying to find their way back home.

I plan on sharing more details on other upcoming Star Wars productions very soon, so if you want to keep up-to-date with the latest leaks, news, reputable rumours, and my exclusive reports, then be sure to sign up to my mailing list below.
