The man, the myth, the legend, Christopher Lloyd aka Doc Brown himself has seemingly confirmed his involvement with the highly anticipated third season of the Disney+ mega hit, The Mandalorian, which is due to release sometime in February. Christopher Lloyd’s response comes after months of speculation regarding his involvement following a report from The Hollywood Reporter back in March.
In a video uploaded by YouTube user BigTuna7781, Lloyd appeared at currently a unidentified convention where he was asked about starring in The Mandalorian, to which Lloyd dramatically responded, “we were all sworn to secrecy”, before raising his arms and playfully following up with, “I don’t know.”
Christopher Lloyd revealing that he’s been sworn to secrecy regarding the role of confirmation enough that he’s in the upcoming third season, but is unable to discuss it which as we know if typical of Star Wars productions, and I wouldn’t expect Lloyd to openly discuss his involvement until the character has shown up in an episode of the series.
If for some reason you’re unfamiliar with Lloyd, he’s best known for playing the iconic role of Doc Brown from the Back to the Future trilogy and has more recently starred in the films, Nobody, alongside Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) and The Tender Bar with Ben Affleck (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice) as well as making guest appearances on popular television series such as The Big Bang Theory, A.P. Bio, Roseanne, an NCIS to name a handful.
