Today Lucasfilm took to the stage alongside Marvel Studios in a joint presentation at D23 Expo 2022. Lucasfilm were first up to the bat and revealed trailers for Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, The Mandalorian, Willow, Indiana Jones 5 and Andor. Lucasfilm also brought out the creators behind Skeleton Crew and Ahsoka to discuss the series, and debuted images from the series, both of which are still in production.

Creator of Skeleton Crew, Jon Watts took to the stage alongside co-creator, Chris Ford, and star, Jude Law (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore) to discuss the series set during the timeline of The Mandalorian which focuses on a group of children lost in the galaxy and trying to find their way home. Though the gang did not provide a teaser for those in the room, but did release an image of Jude Law’s character with the group of children stood behind hun which you can see below.

Another production that we didn’t see a trailer for, despite brief footage being shown back in May at Star Wars Celebration was Ahsoka. The series was described as creator Dave Filoni’s magnum opus. Not much was talked about regarding the series which is due to release next year, but Filoni did debut an image of Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Day Shift, The Voyeurs) as Sabine Wren along with an additional photo of Rosario Dawson (The Mandalorian) which you can see below.

Given that casting news for both Skeleton Crew and Ahsoka landed over the past few days, many expected casting updates and announcements at D23, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case.
