Hello there! Before we crack on with the article, I kindly ask for you to consider showing your support and appreciation for my work by tipping me via my Ko-Fi page here. Tips are quite rare around these parts, but I assure you no matter how big or small, each tip is deeply appreciated. Now, let’s get on with the news!

Five months on from Lucasfilm announcing that filming on the highly anticipated Ahsoka series had begun, it now appears principal photography on the series is coming to an end very soon, if it already hasn’t ended. One of the stars of the series, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who plays the fan-favourite Sabine Wren, and is best known for starring in films such as Dayshift, The Voyeurs and Guns Akimbo, posted a series of snaps on Instagram which seemingly confirms the actress has concluded filming on the series.

The Dayshift star shared a series of fan-art images of herself as the beloved Sabine Wren, and wrote, “What a year. This journey… @ StarWars #SabineWren”. This alone doesn’t confirm Bordizzo had fulfilled her duties as Wren and wrapped, but instead some comments on the post from various crew members on the series confirmed that Bordizzo had wrapped. One comment from a member of the hair department wrote, “Thanks for leading the team #TeamSabine #PushingAlexisFun #ImNotCryingYoureCrying” which the actress liked along with, “You freaking rocked it!! And to have the last scene of the night end with your badass moves was epic” which was a comment from a member of Ahsoka sound department and the final comment Bordizzo liked came from a stunt performer on the series who wrote, “This was a fun story to be a part of. Thanks for being you. You made it fun!”.

Currently no other stars linked to the project have shared that they’ve wrapped or hinted towards it. Production on the series was scheduled to end in November so it makes sense that we’re seeing members of the cast starting to wrap. Ahsoka is due to release sometime in 2023 along with the third season of The Mandalorian and Skeleton Crew, the latter of which is due to wrap filming in December. Following Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew wrapping, there’s been rumours that the next project to film at Manhattan Beach Studios is the fourth season of The Mandalorian, but that’s yet to be confirmed.
