Tips are quite rare around these parts, but I assure you no matter how big or small, each tip is deeply appreciated. Now, let’s get on with the news!
Following their exclusive report of directors Janus Metz and Alonso Ruizpalacios joining Ariel Kleiman on Andor season two, Collider have returned with the exact start date for the second season.
You may recall back in April, both myself and MakingStarWars reported that Andor season two would begin principal photography in November of this year. My sources informed me at the time that filming would occur once again at Pinewood Studios, London and MSW’s sources told him that the production would also film at the legendary Elstre Studios. Last month the series creator and show runner, Tony Gilroy confirmed that the season would begin filming in November and that filming would run until August, but the show runner has exclusively told Collider that principal photography officially begins on November 21st.
In addition to Andor getting ready to film it’s second season in the U.K. in just a couple of week, The Acolyte is currently filming in the United Kingdom at Shinfield Studios. Across the pond Ahsoka is nearing the end of production (may have even wrapped), Skeleton Crew will continue to film until December, and there’s rumblings that the fourth season of The Mandalorian is gearing up to start filming at Manhattan Beach Studios in November.
