Hello there! Before we continue with the article, I kindly ask for you to consider showing your support and appreciation for my work by tipping me via my Ko-Fi page here. Tips are quite rare around these parts, but I assure you no matter how big or small, each tip is deeply appreciated. Now, let’s get on with the news!

After many months of speculation and rumours, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Leia Organa have finally arrived in Fortnite. The trio were being teased yesterday by various Fortnite content creators and they’ve arrived in celebration of what Fortnite are dubbing Skywalker Week.

Each character comes with three skins, Luke Skywalker comes with his farm boy look from A New Hope along with his black outfit from Return of the Jedi, one version with a cloak and one without. Luke’s other items include the X-34 Land Speeder as his glider, a Marksman-H Training Remote as his back bling, and a Slugthrower Rifle as his pickaxe. Leia Organa arrives with her A New Hope hope look along with her Boushh disguise seen in Return of the Jedi, one version with the helmet and one without. Lastly we have Han Solo who sports his iconic look from A New Hope, as well as his outfits from Return of the Jedi, including his Endor trench coat. Unlike Luke, Han and Leia don’t come with a glider. instead the pair come with a Millennium Falcon and R2D2 as a back blings, as well as vibro swords as pickaxes.

Luke Skywalker as well as his items can be purchased in a bundle that costs 2,400 V-Bucks, Fortnite’s in-game currency. Han Solo and Leia Organa and their items can be bought in a bundle that’ll set you back 2,500 V-Bucks. If you’re without V-Bucks then you’ll have to purchase a V-Bucks bundle which come in 1000, 2800, 5000 and 13,500. You’ll be able to purchase everything by buying the 5000 V-Bucks bundle which costs £25.99/$31.99.

In addition to the Luke, Han and Leia’s skins being added to the game, Luke Skywalker’s green and blue lightsabers can be found around the map. Another item now available in the battle royale is the Star Wars Junk Rift, a variant of the Junk Rift item, which see’s pieces of Star Wars junk, including a landspeeder fall from the sky onto your opponent. The Darth Vader boss has also reappeared on the map, but this time he is not assisted by Stormtroopers, but Stormtroopers are however back in game as NPC’s.

Lastly, Star Wars related quests have also arrived alongside the skins. There are five quests which grant you 20,000 XP upon completion, meaning if you complete all five then you’ll earn 100,000 XP. Those quests are; Search Star Wars Chests, Block Shots Using a Lightsaber, Complete a Bounty from a Stormtrooper, Assist in Defeating Darth Vader and Deal Damage to Opponents Using Star Wars Weapons.
