Tips are quite rare around these parts, but I assure you no matter how big or small, each tip is deeply appreciated. Now, let’s get on with the news!
The third season of The Mandalorian has yet to be released, but the latest issue of Production Weekly has provided an update on The Mandalorian season four.
Back in August the same outlet claimed that production on the series was due to start at the tail end of September, which didn’t come to fruition and in more recent weeks rumblings have started that The Mandalorian season four could start filming this month as Ahsoka is due to wrap sometime this month (if it hasn’t already) and members of the production crew have teased getting back to work. However in the latest Production Weekly issue claims that production will start within the first quarter of next year (first three months of 2023), meaning the November rumours were likely just in relation to pre-production starting ahead of principal photography early next year – if true.
Currently both Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew are both filming at Manhattan Beach Studios in California, with Ahsoka also filming at the train yard set located in El Segundo. The former is scheduled to wrap filming sometime this month with many supporting cast members already wrapped, and Skeleton Crew is supposedly due to wrap filming next month. Both Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew are due to release next year along with the third season of The Mandalorian which was reported to premiere on February 22nd according to MakingStarWars.
