Hello there! Before we continue with the article I kindly ask you to consider showing your support and appreciation for my work by tipping me via my Ko-Fi page here. Tips are quite rare around these parts, but I assure you no matter how big or small, each tip is deeply appreciated. Now, let’s get on with the news!
It’s been four months since the exciting teaser trailer for the highly anticipated third season of The Mandalorian was released during the D23 Expo, and fans have been patiently waiting for a follow-up trailer ever since. The ‘official’ and likely final trailer was rumoured to debut on Christmas Day, but fans have had to wait a little longer than expected.
In an official press release from the Disney owned ESPN, the new trailer for The Mandalorian season three will debut on the network January 16th during the Monday Night Football Wild Card game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which begins at 8pm ET (1am January 17th U.K.). Disney and Lucasfilm debuting a trailer for a Star Wars project during Monday Night Football has happened frequently over the years, so it comes as no surprise that Disney will again implement this marketing strategy for the eagerly awaited third season of The Mandalorian.
Little is known about what to expect from the new trailer, but a rumour from MakingStarWars claims that fans will get their first look at Back to the Future’s Christopher Lloyd in the trailer and that once again, the trailer will focus on Bo Katan Kryze being the antagonist of Din Djarin this season, though it is not the case and is just being made to look this way for marketing purposes.
