Earlier this week, Fortnite unveiled their latest Star Wars collaboration which saw the arrival of Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, Darth Maul and a handful of Clone Trooper variants, along with a Star Wars battle pass which will last for the duration of the event and Force powers being introduced to the Battle Royale for the first time. Though Fortnite and Lucasfilm just unleashed an exciting amount of content for Star Wars fans, it seems they aren’t done yet.

According to various dataminers, new Star Wars skins have been found in the game files. Currently it’s unknown who these characters are, but what we do know is that there’ll be at least two more skins. The skins found in the files share a name with the Darth Maul codename which was CirrusVine, these two mystery additions have the codenames AuricVine and HornettaVine. It’s worth noting that dataminers only found two Star Wars skins in the run up to the Star Wars event/release, with those skins being Anakin Skywalker and Darth Maul, and did not find any hints of Padmé Amidala or the Clone Troopers, so there may be more than two Star Wars skins on the way.

The current Fortnite and Star Wars collaboration is focused on the prequel trilogy, so perhaps the two mystery skins are also tied to the prequels. They both share a name with the Maul skin which could hint towards the possibility that they’re dark side related – perhaps General Grievous and Emperor Palpatine. Currently in Fortnite there’s only three Star Wars villain skins if you don’t include the various Stormtroopers which is Maul, Darth Vader and Kylo Ren. The villains currently in the game are without question the most recognisable from their individual trilogies so you could argue that Fornite may not see adding extra villain skins when there’s likely more iconic and requested heroes to be added including Chewbacca, Landa Calrissian and Ahsoka Tano.
