We’re now two months away from the release of the next highly anticipated Star Wars live-action series, The Acolyte, which is set to premiere on Disney+ on June 4th. Following the release of the trailer last month, promotion on the series is beginning to ramp up and today it’s been announced by Empire Magazine that the High Republic era series will done the May issue of the magazine, releasing April 11th.

The issue promises to share interviews the series creator, Leslye Headland (Russian Doll), along the the cast of the series including Amandla Stenberg (Bodies, Bodies, Bodies), Lee Jung Jae (Squid Game), Carrie Anne-Moss (The Matrix), Dafne Keen (Logan), Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll), Joonas Suotama (Solo: A Star Wars Story), Rebecca Henderson (Russian Doll), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place) and Jodie Turner Smith (After Yang). In addition to interviews with the series cast and creator, Empire will also share some never before seen behind the scenes pictures of the series.

In The Acolyte, an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems.
