Andor, Lucasfilm’s critical darling, is looking to release early next year (as I exclusively reported) and is currently in the middle of reshoots in the United Kingdom (another exclusive of mine). However, despite being a ways out from release, one of the directors of the highly anticipated second and final season of the Rogue One prequel has revealed that a major character from Rogue One would be appearing in the next season.

Alonso Ruizpalacios (Narcos: Mexico, Outer Range) slipped up during an interview with The Playlist, where he revealed how much of a joy it was to work with actors such as Stellan Skarsgard (Luthen Rael), Forest Whitaker (Saw Gerrera) and Ben Mendehlsohn (Orson Krennic). Skarsgard and Whitaker’s characters were characters featured in season one and were confirmed to be returning, but the return of Krennic was a spoiler drop from the director.

Recently the Andor leading man, Diego Luna, revealed that more characters from Rogue One would be appearing in the second season of Andor, which led fans to turn their attention to Krennic, Bail Organa and General Draven as some examples, with Alan Tudyk’s K2SO also confirmed to be part of the second and final season. Luna added that Andor season two would be “very special” for fans of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
