According to The Direct, Alex Lawther has been cast in Andor in an unknown role. The Direct were unable to provide any additional details on Lawther’s casting, but the news is exciting nonetheless.
Lawther is probably best known for starring in the series, The End of the F***ing World as well as starring in an episode of Black Mirror titled Shut Up and Dance.
Lawther is set to have a busy year as he’s set to star in Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch alongside Timothée Chalamet, Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Benicio Del Toro, Lea Seydoux, Owen Wilson and Adrien Brady as well as starring in Ridley’s Scott’s The Last Duel alongside Matt Damon, Adam Driver, Jodie Comer and Ben Affleck.
Andor is currently still filming at Pinewood Studios, London and is set to be released sometime next year.
