Darth Vader is coming to Fortnite next season as a boss

Following speculation on a possible Star Wars season in Fortnite, a prominent Fortnite content creator and leaker has revealed that Darth Vader will be in the next season of Fortnite, and what his role will be. The information comes from content creator Tabor Hill, who I personally was unfamiliar with. However Fortnite leakers that I trust confirmed on social media that this creator is trustworthy and posts very accurate leaks pertaining to the game.

You may recall a couple of days ago I wrote a speculation piece regarding Fortnite’s next season being Star Wars themed or having heavy Star Wars ties due to various teases from Epic Games, which I strongly suggest you read here. In said post I spoke about Fortnite fans spotting a file named C3S3_Vader during an official Unreal Engine livestream, which was followed by chief creative officer of Fortnite, Donald Mustard, sharing an image of C3PO and Chewbacca on social media with the captions, “Sooooo many secrets here” and “that’s no moon”. I also detailed Mustard’s past Star Wars hints dating back to November of last year, and that now brings us to today.

Content creator Tabor shared a video on his YouTube channel where he recaps the events of the Darth Vader Chapter 3: Season 2 file being spotted during an official Unreal Engine livestream (the engine Epic Games created), before going on to reveal that Darth Vader will be part of Chapter 3: Season 2 and will be a boss of the map. Tabor goes on to say that he believes Vader will be at a place of interest similar to Din Djarin back in Chapter 2: Season 5 early last year, where Din would spawn at the Cantina and you’d have the choice to fight the mighty bounty hunter and if successful in beating him, you could take his rifle and jet pack. Djarin was also part of that seasons battle pass as a skin and would feature challengers where you’d unlock pieces of Beskar to upgrade his armour.

Tabor went on to say that he doesn’t know if Vader will be tied to the next seasons battle pass, or if the season itself is Star Wars themed, but leaned towards it being not. He did however say that he believes the season will have strong ties to Star Wars, and adds with Mustards teasing, it’s a given as when Donald Mustard teases collaborations they always come true…even years later.

Tabor also reveals another Lucasfilm character heading to the battle royale…Indiana Jones. During the same livestream the Vader file was spotted, a Chapter 3: Season 2 file was spotted for Jones, which the vast majority of people assumed meant a new skin for the Fortnite original character Jonsey. Tabor however has revealed that this is not the case and the file is in reference to Indy himself. Tabor says he doesn’t know if Indy is related to the upcoming seasons battle pass, or if it’ll simply be released in the item shop.
