It was just earlier today that I wrote about Qui-Gon Jinn and Jar Jar Binks arriving in Fortnite next season and shortly after we’ve received word that two more legendary characters might be coming to the Battle Royale in May.
Emperor Palpatine and C3PO coming to Fortnite in Chapter 6 Season 3
Two of the most iconic characters of the Skywalker Saga are might be coming to Fortnite in May according to various leakers. Emperor Palpatine and C3PO are rumoured to be coming to Fortnite as part of the Star Wars themed Chapter 6 Season 3. Palpatine will reportedly be part of the Battle Pass next season, though it’s unclear about C3PO.
The Fortnite Battle Pass costs 100 vbucks, the in game Fortnite currency, which players can purchase for $8.99/£6.99. Skins in the item shop generally cost 1500 vbucks and that’s for the skin alone, none of the other cosmetics such as emotes, backbling’s, pickaxes and so on. So the news that these two skins are probably part of the Battle Pass is good news to me and I’m sure many other players.
When will Emperor Palpatine and C3PO be released in Fortnite?
As mentioned, Emperor Palpatine is reportedly part of the next Fortnite Battle Pass which is available at the start of the new season. The next season is Chapter 6 Season 3 and will begin on May 2nd. If C3PO is part of the Battle Pass, then he too will arrive that day. If C3PO is not part of the Battle Pass, then he’ll likely arrive before June 8th, the end of Chapter 6 Season 3.
When will Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 end?
Since the last article on the topic, it’s been confirmed that the Star Wars themed Chapter 6 Season 3 is due to end on June 8th, 2025. Meaning the Star Wars season will only last 35 days.
So if you want to get your hands on any of the Battle Pass Star Wars rewards, you’ll only have 35 days to complete it. You can complete the Battle Pass by leaving up and earning XP, you can do this by simply playing the game or can gain more by completing in-game quests, some are weekly, some are daily, there’s usually story related quests and you might have some character given quests.
