EXCLUSIVE: Din Djarin Pilots a New Ship in The Book of Boba Fett

First and foremost I’m going to hammer home that you should take this as a rumour. This isn’t something I’m completely solid on like some of my recently confirmed reports, such as when I exclusively reported that Bryce Dallas Howard was directing an episode of The Book of Boba Fett, or that the Knights of the Old Republic Remake was not being developed by BioWare or EA.

We all know that Din Djarin is in need of a ship following the heartbreaking destruction of the Razor Crest in season two of The Mandalorian. So the questions that arise are, how is Din going to get a new ship? and what will his new ship be? I’m hoping that I can answer at least one of these questions.

Rumours have been swirling for many months that Din Djarin will appear in The Book of Boba Fett. The rumour originated with Cinelinx and since then myself and multiple other reporters/insiders/leakers…whatever you call us, have said we’ve heard the same thing. So why is Din appearing in the series? I don’t know, but it may have something to do with getting himself a new ship.

I have heard that at some point Din Djarin will pilot a Naboo N-1 Starfighter in an upcoming episode of The Book of Boba Fett.

Now the inclusion of the N-1 isn’t new news. The N-1 was previously reported to be in development alongside the vespas, seen in the third episode of The Book of Boba Fett released last week, over fourteen months ago by MakingStarWars. However my exclusive report that Din Djarin piloting the starfighter is new information, and has not been previously reported or rumoured.

I don’t know what episode of The Book of Boba Fett Din Djarin will appear, I was told by a singular source that it’s either episode four or five, but they leaned towards five, and five is my personal belief, but that’s just my speculation based off of what I know about episode four (key word being speculation). Outside of Din getting to pilot the ship at some point, I wasn’t told very many other details – I don’t know how Din gets the vehicle, or what he does with it in the series, or if he’ll use it past a singular episode of Fett – I was simply told that Din has an N-1 Starfighter during an episode of The Book of Boba Fett.

Personally I’m very excited to see the inclusion of a prequel era ship, but more so as the N-1 is probably my favourite ship in all of Star Wars, and for Din, one of my favourite characters in recent years, to pilot one and possibly keep it going forward, really does put a smile on my face. Hopefully we don’t have to wait very long to see the N1 on screen (if true).
