We’ve had many Fortnite and Star Wars collaborations over the years, but the next one might just be the biggest yet as Fortnite is set to dedicate an entire season to the franchise from a galaxy far, far away.
What Star Wars content is coming to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3?
According to reliable Fortnite leaker, FNBRIntel, Fortnite’s next season, Chapter 6 Season 3, is slated to be Star Wars themed and will include new places of interest, new mythic weapons, a storyline that’ll be connected to Fortnite’s ongoing one, and of course…new skins.
There’s no additional details on what those skins could be or the weapons, however, the leaker did share news that might disappoint some people.
How long will Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 last?
According to FNBRIntel, the next season of Fortnite is set to be a mini-season and will only consist of around 30-35 days and will only receive two updates.
Most Fortnite’s seasons are more than double the length of what Chapter 6 Season 3 is rumoured to be. The current season began on February 21st, 2025 and will run for almost three months.
When will Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 begin?
The current season of Fortnite is slated to end on May 2nd, 2025. This means the Star Wars themed season of Fortnite, Chapter 6 Season 3, will likely begin either on May 2nd or May 3rd, 2025 (depending on downtime)…just in time for May 4th, aka, Star Wars day.
Will new Star Wars cosmetics will be part of the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Battle Pass?
According to the leakers, there will be Star Wars skins, as expected given it’s a Star Wars themed season. This means that Star Wars skins, emotes and more in the Battle Pass. According to Loolo_WRLD, the Battle Pass will have four or five skins, though they did not specify if every skin was Star Wars themed. The Battle Pass will have some free rewards, but the paid for Premium Battle Pass will grant you all the Star Wars items in the pass as you rank up.
There’ll also likely be new paid for Star Wars skins in addition to those featured in the Battle Pass that would be exclusive to the Fortnite Item Shop and past skins and items could also return.
In a recent Marvel themed season, Fortnite debuted Marvel themed versions of their own original characters such as a Captain America themed Jonsey, a Deadpool version of Fishstick and a Wolverine themed Peeley. Fortnite are yet to do this with Star Wars characters, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see this happen in the upcoming season.
