Two weeks ago we saw an image of the Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 3 battle pass land online via an anonymous user on 4chan which featured Darth Vader as a battle pass exclusive skin. Multiple Fortnite insiders and data-miners shared the image and believed it to be real. This comes after months of rumours that the dark lord of the Sith would be part of Fortnite’s next season and according to reliable Fortnite insider and YouTuber Tabor Time, the leaked Fortnite Chapter 3: Season 3 battle pass is legitimate. Tabor was first to report that Vader will have a place of interest in the next season, and that Indiana Jones would also have a skin next season – he also featured in the leaked image. The June crewpack skin has also now been released, and it’s the the skin featured in the leaked battle pass image. Now with that in mind it’s worth taking a look at the other claims of the 4chan user who posted the season three battle pass.
According to the 4chan user, who claimed this the same day they leaked the battle pass image, within the next year fans can expect to see the arrival of the original trilogy trio, Han Solo, Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa. The user claims that Skywalker’s outfit will be the black outfit seen in Return of the Jedi with a hooded option as an alternative. Leia Organa will be sporting her iconic outfit from A New Hope and her Boushh disguise from Return of the Jedi skin. Lastly the user claims that Han Solo will not be sporting an outfit from the live-action movies, and instead will be wearing what they believe is an original outfit. According to the user, Solo will be wearing a trench coat of sorts and that it’s very similar to the one by Deckard, a character Harrison Ford played in Blade Runner, though is possible they’re referring to the jacket Han wears on Endor in Return of the Jedi.
Only time will tell if the other claims by the 4chan user is correct, chances are it’s not, but it’s worth keeping an eye on given the supposed accuracy of their initial leak.
