Muun home world rumored to feature in Star Wars: The Acolyte; possible hint towards Darth Plagueis

Over the last couple of weeks we’ve been getting pieces of information on the upcoming live-action Star Wars series, The Acolyte, courtesy of a leaker who previously shared plot details along with footage from the upcoming animated anthology series, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, and once the again the supposed leaker, Aesokas, has shared a new tidbit on The Acolyte.

According to the Twitter user, they’ve seen concept art of a planet with large snow covered mountains alongside tall cities which have long tentacle like features and bell shaped roofs. They claim that upon comparison to the planet Scipio seen in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, they have concluded that they are one in the same and for this reason they believe Scipio will feature in Star Wars: The Acolyte.

You may be wondering why is this significant? Well Scipio is the home world of the Muun species, the very species that Darth Plagueis is. Though it’s not been confirmed the Sith Lord will be making an appearance, the same Twitter user has previously shared their belief that the dark lord is in the series due to certain things they’ve seen, but aren’t at liberty to talk about. They’ve previously mentioned that the Sith Lord featured in The Acolyte isn’t Plagueis, instead it’s a human male. Though they’ve mentioned that a CGI male alien with the codename Penn will befriend our lead character codenamed Aura (played by Amandla Stenberg) and the two will take down their fellow acolytes in hopes they can become the apprentice to the aforementioned Sith Lord.

Though the leakers Tales of the Jedi reports are likely true, it doesn’t mean everything else is and it’s worth remembering, and not getting yourself overly excited or attached to the idea that Plagueis will be making an appearance in The Acolyte. I have been able to back up some of what the user has previously claimed in the past, but have not been able to do so in regards to Plagueis. However I do hope to see the character make their way into live-action one day.
