We’ve found new images in high resolution from the Star Wars Galactic Racer art book on various online store listings for the game.
Announced earlier this month, the upcoming racing game from Fuse Games is getting an art book to go alongside its release titled Star Wars: Galactic Racer: The Art of Speed. There will be 80 pages for of never-before-seen artwork from the the game’s development. You’ll be able to see two of the pages from the art book we’ve found later on in this article.
There will be two formats of the art book. The Star Wars Galactic Racer Deluxe Edition will include the Digital Art Book. Meanwhile, the fans that pick up the physical Star Wars Galactic Racer Collector’s Edition are in for quite a treat. They will be getting a physical copy in high-quality print of those 80 pages.
Back when the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions were announced, the community had only spotted the art book in the marketing material for the Collector’s Edition as seen in the image below.
New Look
Having took a look at the game’s product listings on the Xbox Store, we have found high resolution versions of Star Wars: Galactic Racer: The Art of Speed‘s cover and rear plus a two-page spread from within the book. You can find the images below.
The image below shows pages 22 and 23 from the book in the vehicle chapter. It displays concept art and diagrams of a landspeeder made for the game that took some inspiration from the Y-Wing as per the text found on page 23.
“Making something distinctly Star Wars is actually quite difficult. There’s a lot of nuances to discover what places it in the galaxy. Combining influence from existing Star Wars vehicles, the shapes, the curves, some of the designs. This landspeeder has a similar curvature to the Y-Wing bomber at the front. With the right livery, you feel those influences coming back.”
