New Image And Details

Empire have shared a new image from the film showing Din and Grogu on an AT-RT. Along with this screen, Lucasfilm co-CEO Dave Filoni says this film is a “celebration” of Mando and Grogu rather than having to introduce a new set of characters like The Force Awakens did.
There is confirmation Phil Tippett’s studio will be providing stop-motion work on this film alongside the practical sets and puppets done by other crews.
This special issue of Empire will go on sale at newstands from next Thursday, March 12th 2026. You can also pre-order a copy online here for £8.99. That’s when you can expect to learn more about the new movie that is coming out in a couple of months.
