New details on Star Wars Zero Company customization has been revealed by Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment. Announced at Star Wars Celebration last year, there has been a lack of news since then. However, the latest PC Gamer magazine issue contains an information below out complete with several new in-game screenshots, story details, gameplay breakdowns more.
In this article we’ll be taking a look at some of the updated cosmetic and gameplay customisation options you will have access to. This includes both your own personal character options but also what class types you can play with.
Player Customization
Below are newly confirmed customisation options for Hawks so far, the protagonist you take the role off in the game and commander of Zero Company. Hawks is a non-Clone, non-Jedi Republic officer:
- Voice
- Sex
- Gender
- Species
- Zabrak
- Togruta
- Devaronian
- Twi’lek
- Mirialan
- And more!
You will be able to customise your squad mates too with both visual and gameplay wise. The latter includes things like upgrades to abilities and such. As you can see from the image below, you will have a wealth of visual options to choose from depending on your species.

Classes
There are twelve classes in total that you can designate to mercs you hire. Some canon story characters such as Trick are set to a class like the Heavy class by default.
Eight standard classes:
- Assault
- Heavy
- Sharpshooter
- Scoundrel
- Soldier
- Gunslinger
- Scout
- Medic

Four “exotic” classes:
- Astromech (visually customised with an extensive droid builder menu)
- Jedi Padawan (limited to Tel-Rea Vokoss)
- Mandalorian Warrior (limited to Cly Kullervo)
- Secret special class
It is also noted that the astromechs can be fitted with grenades or flamethrowers meaning they are more useful than you’d expect.
