Hello there! After a tease on May the 4th, Epic Games and Lucasfilm have officially announced that Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi will be arriving in Fortnite on May 26th, one day ahead of series premiere of Kenobi on Disney+.
Obi-Wan’s skin is based on the character new look in the upcoming Disney+ series. The Kenobi skin can be bought on its own, or you can could purchase his bundle which contains his Desert Essentials back bling, a blade pickaxe (I know fans will be disappointed it’s not a lightsaber), an ‘important transmission’ emote (heartbroken it’s not hello there), a loading screen, and Kenobi’s glider is his Jedi Starfighter as seen in Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. All items will arrive in the Fortnite item shop in six days time, but you can also win the skin by taking part in the Obi-Wan Kenobi cup on May 22nd, which will see the return of lightsabers and the E-11 blaster which appeared in the game earlier this month in celebration on May the 4th.
Darth Vader has been long rumoured to debut in Fortnite in its next season which begins on June the 4th, and is supposedly a boss you can find and fight on the map. It’s unclear if you’ll be able to buy the the Sith Lord in the Fortnite item shop or if he’ll be part of the next seasons battle pass. I don’t know about you, but I for one will certainly be picking up both the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader skins.
