We have just received our first look at Princess Leia wearing her Star Wars Battlefront 2 outfit in Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland. Fans of the game will love seeing this appearance come to life.
This and more comes as part of an Original Trilogy makeover for Galaxy’s Edge found at Disneyland. At the start of this year, Lucasfilm announced that they would be bringing a whole host of fan favourite characters and other content from the Original Trilogy to the park. We are just a couple of weeks away from said changes so the company has begun showing off what fans can expect to experience.
Fans of Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be happy to see Princess Leia roaming Black Spire Outpost on Batuu wearing her outfit made for Star Wars Battlefront II in 2017. There are some minor adjustments to the costume but it still resembles it. You can see a preview of Leia in this outfit below:
Lucasfilm senior creative executive Matt Martin told StarWars.com that “This is Leia’s adventure look. It’s inspired by some comic book appearances from this era, as well as the look that she had in Star Wars Battlefront II, the video game. But this is really the first time we get to see it physically created on a person.”

Her hair will also be styled in a crown braid as seen in Star Wars Battlefront II’s campaign. This hairstyle was later changed to be the one seen in comics for the multiplayer part of the game.
Leia will enter the park with Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Darth Vader on April 29th. Plus, characters such as Rey, R2-D2, Ahsoka Tano, and Chewbacca will also remain part of the immersive experience.
In other recent Battlefront news, one of the blasters made for the game is expected to appear in the new Mandalorian and Grogu movie. More details here.
