Even more new details about Star Wars Galactic Racer are continuing to trickle out. Just days after a new gameplay trailer and in-depth interview with major reveals, the latest batch of information we have been given shares the minimum and recommended specs on PC. This is great to know ahead of the games launch this year.
The game’s minimum and recommended requirements were posted publicly by the game’s publisher Secret Mode in an FAQ page on Steam which serves as a place to answer a bunch of questions about the game. This also includes a note about Steam Deck support which can be found below.
Secret Mode have included a disclaimer alongside the PC System Requirements saying: “Please note that these specs are subject to change.” So there is a chance these are not final but at least for now, you want to be targeting the specs below to run the game.

As for if the game is going to be able to be played on the Steam Deck, this is what the FAQ says:
Can I play STAR WARS: Galactic Racer on my Steam Deck?
“This game is great on Steam Deck as will deliver a great 30 frames per second high-fidelity racing experience.”
Whilst it is not Steam Deck verified yet, it is good to hear they think it can be a good experience on Valve’s handheld. Also, it’s nice to see Intel GPUs listed in both the minimum and recommended requirements. Even though they aren’t very popular, these cheaper alternatives are able to deliver enough power in modern games.
Something of note is this game’s official Twitter account follows Intel Gaming account and not accounts from the other manufacturers. Could this game be an Intel sponsored title? Possibly. We’ll have to wait and see if there ends up being some promotions between this game and Intel in the future.
