Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order sequel to feature redesigned Purge Troopers

It’s been over two years since the release of the critically acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and with a sequel deep in development, it was only a matter of time before fresh information on the project would make its way online.

According to MakingStarWars the Purge Trooper, which first appeared in Jedi: Fallen Order, has undergone a redesign for its sequel and will also apparently make an appearance in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series which hits our screens in just over a month. According to the report, the Purge Troopers helmet will now resemble that of a Shore Trooper, which were previously seen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The report emphasises that it’s not simply a Shore Trooper helmet in black, it’s just the closest in design.

The report adds that the Purge Troopers appear on a large ship on Jabiim on the hunt for Obi-Wan Kenobi in the upcoming series. It’s no surprise that the Purge Troopers feature in the show given that Fallen Order taught us to expect them when Inquisitors are present in that particular time period.

Fans are eagerly awaiting more information on the highly anticipated sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and can expect to learn more at the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event which takes place from May 26th to May 29th, as I’d previously reported back in January that the sequel will be making an appearance at the event, which has since being corroborated by multiple other outlets including GamesBeat’s and GiantBomb’s Jeff Grubb.
