The Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord trailer has arrived and it shows off lots of new scenes from the upcoming show. The trailer shows off plenty of Lightsaber action which will no doubt excite fans.
This visually stunning show is the next big piece of Star Wars media to come out and this trailer is gives fans a look at many new scenes from the show. There’s also our first look at brand new characters and duels with familiar faces from the Inquisitorius. A new rendition of John William’s iconic Duel of the Fates track made for Episode I The Phantom Menace can be heard in the background.
The latest project from Lucasfilm Animation will begin airing on Disney+ from April 6th 2026 at 12am PT; just three weeks away at the time of writing. It will be a two-episode premiere with two episodes releasing each week. The show’s finale will come out on Star Wars Day, May the 4th.
“Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord presents fans with a pulpy adventure that finds Maul plotting to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet untouched by the Empire. There, he crosses paths with a disillusioned young Jedi Padawan who may just be the apprentice he is seeking to aid him in his relentless pursuit for revenge.”

New Poster
A new poster for the show was also published online by Lucasfilm. It shows Maul, Devon Izara, Eeko-Dio Daki, Rook Kast, Icarus and Scorn, Looti Vario. Captain Brander Lawson, Two-Boots, and Rylee. There’s also a Star Destroyer in the sky above. You can check it out below.
