Star Wars Outlaws has topped the Steam Charts’ trending list following celebrations around May 4th (Star Wars Day).
On May 4th and 5th, Star Wars Outlaws was the number 1 trending game on the Steam charts. What this means is there is the biggest percentage increase in player count over the course of 24 hours. The game saw a 161.8% increase in players on May 5th; it had a peak concurrent player count of 1918.
On May 6th, Star Wars Outlaws is remaining strong on Steam. It was the 4th most trending game with a 125.7% 24-hour change. It is also the 43rd best selling game on the platform. The game is discounted on Steam much like every other Star Wars game but it is actually cheaper on other platforms like Ubisoft Connect currently.
This follows the game gaining hundreds of thousands of players on Xbox alone a few months ago. Thanks to its inclusion in Xbox Game Pass at the start of the year and other factors, the game has continued to find new audiences.
Lead development studio of Star Wars Outlaws, Massive Entertainment, posted a Tweet wishing fans a happy Star Wars day. The replies to the post was met with love for the game and requests for a sequel continuing Kay, Nix and ND-5’s story.
In other recent Star Wars Outlaws news, the game got a small graphics improvement thanks to Sony which you can learn about here. Plus, the prequel novel Low Red Moon came out to favourable reviews by fans. If you’d like to read or listen to the book, check it out here.
