The next Star Wars live-action series due to release is the Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and Christopher Ford (Spider-Man: Homecoming) created Skeleton Crew which follows a group of children who get lost in the galaxy and are looking to find their way back home.

Lucasfilm debuted a trailer for Skeleton Crew in April 2023 for those in attendance and did not release the clip online. Sixteen months later, fans can finally (officially) get a glimpse of what’s to come from the Amblin inspired series due to be released exclusively on Disney+ on December 3rd.
Skeleton Crew boasts an incredible list of directing talent that includes the aforementioned Jon Watts who directed the Tom Holland Spider-Man trilogy, Lee Isaac Chung of Twisters and Minari fame, David Lowery who directed The Green Knight and academy award winning duo The Daniels who helmed Everything, Everywhere, All At Once, to name a few.
