We’re just three months away from the release of the highly anticipated live-action Star Wars series, Ahsoka. The series acts as a successor of sorts to the beloved animated series, Star Wars Rebels, which concluded in the Spring of 2018. The Ahsoka series also acts as a sort of spin-off of The Mandalorian, following up on threads presented in the hit Disney+ series.

The series finale of Rebels saw a Jedi Knight by the name of Ezra Bridger thwart an attack on his home-world of Lothal from the villainous Grand Admiral Thrawn and the Empire. In his last stand, Bridger used creatures known as Purrgil to trap Thrawn and his army, along with Bridger himself, and used the creatures to jump to lightspeed to an unknown part of the galaxy. In the series epilogue, two friends of Bridger, Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren set out on a quest to find their lost friend. In the second season of The Mandalorian, Tano confronts Morgan Elsbeth demanding to know where Grand Admiral Thrawn is – if Ahsoka can find Thrawn, she’ll likely find Ezra. Since Rebels wrapped up over half a decade ago, fans have questioned where Ezra and Thrawn ended up, and it seems we might have an answer.

According to past reports from MakingStarWars, Thrawn and Bridger are located in either a new galaxy or a part of the galaxy we’ve never seen before, something they referred to as the New Beyond. However, MSW recently shared a report which detailed a more specific location – the Nodian Highlands. According to the outlet, a large fight will take place in the Nodian Highlands between Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Morgan Elsbeth, Baylan and Shin. Why do we think this is the possible location of Thrawn and Ezra? Well MSW reports that Elsbeth has been constructing a large vessel that’ll venture out into the unknown to locate and bring back Grand Admiral Thrawn and that somehow Tano and Wren follow Elsbeth and company to the location. If Elsbeth is taking this vessel to Thrawn and she lands at the Nodian Highlands, it’s possible that this is the planet where Bridger and the Grand Admiral have been stranded. It’s unlikely that the planet itself is called the Nodian Highlands, that’ll more than likely be a specific part of the planet. The planet itself could be named Nodia, but this is purely speculation.

The Ahsoka series is due to release sometime this August exclusively on Disney+.
