Vic Michaelis has been cast in Star Wars Zero Company. This is reveal will for sure excite fans of the comedian as we edge closer towards the game’s release.
Last month, we learned a lot about the upcoming squad tactics game by Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment. Part of that info drop was confirmation of two obvious voice roles: Matt Wood as the battle droids and Dee Bradley Baker as the Clone Trooper called Trick. However, we learned the names of a bunch of new, canon characters but no actors’ names were attached to them.
Interestingly, Vic Michaelis revealed they would be part of the game in an interview back in January and seemingly no one spotted this. The game’s art director, Daanish Syed, posted a Tweet this week to call out this information. Vic says they will be playing Runa Blask in the game.
“It’s been super busy. It’s been really fun. I am currently working on a video game that’s going to be coming out this year. I’m playing Roona in Star Wars: Zero Company, which the trailer’s out and that’ll be out this year. It’s been busy in the most beautiful, wonderful way.”
The game’s art director called this a “dream casting” and that Michaelis’ “dry, sardonic performance” for Black “absolutely amazing”. It sounds like Runa is going to be a character fans can expect to enjoy in The Den. An image of Runa Blask in-game can be found below.

As confirmed in an article by PC Gamer, Runa is not a character you’ll be able to add in your squad but rather one of the main members of Zero Company that work in your headquarters. The Togruta is a Separatist but was kicked from the club. Now she works for the Republic as part of Zero Company offering snide remarks to you alongside running the team’s finances.
It will be interesting to see who else has been cast in the upcoming game. Star Wars Zero Company will release later in 2026.
