We’re just a few weeks away from the debut of Skeleton Crew, the latest live-action Star Wars series, arriving on Disney+. Yesterday, thanks to an official press release, we now know what directors, and boy it is a great line up of filmmakers, directed which episode of the series – you can read the full list here. So what episodes did the director of behind multiple episodes of The Mandalorian shoot?

I’m sure that everybody reading this knows exactly who Bryce Dallas Howard is. Yes, she’s a star of the Jurassic World trilogy, but she’s also directed multiple episodes of Star Wars television. Howard directed the fourth episode of The Mandalorian season one, Sanctuary, the chapter that introduced viewers to Cara Dune. Episode three of season two, The Heiress, which introduced Katee Sackhoff’s Bo Katan Kryze in Star Wars live-action. And episode six of season three, Guns for Hire…yes, the one that featured Jack Black and Lizzo. But the episode that Star Wars fans will likely best remember Howard’s work is from The Book of Boba Fett, episode five – Return of the Mandalorian, which is one of the highest rated live-action Star Wars TV episodes of all time. Bryce Dallas Howard directed episode six of Skeleton Crew.
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home—and meeting unlikely allies and enemies—will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined.
The series stars Jude Law (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore), Ravi Cabot-Conyers (Encanto), Ryan Keira Armstrong (Firestarter), Kryiana Kratter (Bunk’d), Robert Timothy Smith (Mythic Quest), Kerry Condon (The Banshees of Inisherin) and Tunde Adebimpe (Twisters). Skeleton Crew series was created by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home) and Christopher Ford (Chaos Walking).
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will release its first two episodes exclusively on Disney+ on December 3rd.
