Following the leak yesterday, the sizzle reel for Obi-Wan Kenobi has officially been released in celebration of Disney Plus Day.

A sizzle reel featuring multiple pieces of concept art from the series along with interviews with the director, Deborah Chow (The Mandalorian) and the bold one himself, Ewan McGregor, was officially released by Disney and Lucasfilm on the Disney+ app.

Currently the sizzle reel hasn’t been uploaded to YouTube, but once it has I’ll update this article with the official link, but for now you can see the sizzle reel below whilst it’s available on non-official channels.

Outside of the official release of the Obi-Wan Kenobi sizzle reel, Disney and Lucasfilm failed to release any other piece of promotional material for upcoming Star Wars shows such as Andor, The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian season three, nor did they make any announcements. It was previously reported by StarWarsNewsNet and others that multiple pieces of promotional material for upcoming Star Wars projects would be shown during Disney Plus Day along with exciting announcements. Lucasfilm did release a promotional video for the Willow series introducing the supporting cast however.

Elsewhere Marvel Studios confirmed a handful of rumoured TV series including Hawkeye spin-off Echo and WandaVision spin-off Agatha: House of Harkness as well as announcing the Spider-Man: Homecoming prequel animated series, Spider-Man: Freshman Year and a revival of the classic X-Men: The Animated Series as well as showing teasers for all of their 2022 live-action series She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel.

The screams of disappointed Star Wars fans could be felt across the galaxy today. In the future maybe we should all keep our expectations in the gutter when it comes to Lucasfilm reveals and announcements, that way when something does happen we can finally find joy.
