Two weeks after I exclusively reported that I’d heard LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was looking to release in April/May, a data-miner has now discovered a possible release date.

Xbox and Microsoft data-miner Aggiornamenti Lumia shared on Twitter that they’d discovered a release date of April the fifth for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga when data-mining the Microsoft store. Lumia shared that the update to the store had happened just a few minutes before they shared their findings on social media.

Lumia also revealed that they’d found a private update on the title, which was the game had twenty DLC’s. This doesn’t mean that the title will boast twenty DLC packs as bundles, in-app purchases and actual DLC are all included in that file.

Following Lumia’s findings, an image promoting some DLC found its way online via Amazon Mexico as part of a listing for The Skywalker Saga deluxe edition. The promotional image featured images of Din Djarin and Grogu, Jyn Erso and Hunter from The Bad Batch whilst the text on the picture revealed that the character collection will contain seven character packs, including characters from The Mandalorian season one, The Mandalorian season two, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Solo: A Star Wars Story, a trooper pack and a classic characters pack.

The character collection is included in the deluxe edition of The Skywalker Saga, but previously only touted having six character packs, but it appears it’s been upped to seven.

It’s also worth mentioning that fans discovered on the Microsoft store yesterday that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga was rated by the ESRB as Everyone 10, and will be an Xbox Series X and S enhanced title that will sport 4K UHD, 60 fps and HDR10.

It feels like everything’s coming together for the Spring release of The Skywalker Saga with data-miners discovering possible release dates, the title getting an ESRB rating, and new promotional material being sent to retailers. We may actually get this much delayed game in just a handful of months. Hopefully this all comes to fruition, and If so then the information I was told by sources regarding the title, which I reported on last week was accurate.
