Hello there! We’re just a small number of weeks away from Star Wars Celebration where we’ll be getting new information on the upcoming Andor series, and hopefully see some footage from the Rogue One spin-off. In anticipation I’m sharing some small pieces of information regarding the series, which has a couple more links to Rogue One, as well as a connection to Solo: A Star Wars Story. This is just one of a couple reports regarding Andor I plan on sharing before the start of Celebration, so let’s begin.

Listings for Mudtroopers in the series appeared on IMBD a number of weeks ago and I reached out to several sources connected to the production to confirm if this listing was accurate, which I can report they are. I was also informed that Stormtroopers in black armour were part of the production in addition to to the Mudtroopers, leading me to wonder if my sources were referring to the Death Troopers as seen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and by all accounts it seems as if this is the case.

I don’t know much about the Death Trooper scenes, but I believe some may appear at the large set that was built at Little Marlow. I was also told that the black troopers were seen along with officers in white in separate scenes. Now I know many will assume an appearance from Director Krennic, but nobody attached told me about an appearance by the character or a sighting of Ben Mendelsohn, so we should still operate as if Krennic isn’t part of the series. Chances are the officers in white are simply other members of the Imperial Security Bureau.

As I previously mentioned I’m hoping to put out additional reports pertaining to Andor ahead of Celebration so stay tuned.
