Just last week Disney removed Star Wars: The Bad Batch season two from their September release schedule. Press were sent a calendar of what will be releasing on Disney+ in September and when, but to the surprise of fans The Bad Batch did not appear despite Disney listing the second season would release begin releasing on September 28th following the Star Wars Celebration panel and trailer release back in late May.

Today however Disney have seemingly updated their September release calendar, and the second season of The Bad Batch is once again listed for release on September 28th. The new listing comes from the official Disney+ Australia website, which also contained a brief synopsis for the season, “The Bad Batch returns with Clone Force 99 and Omega, as they continue to navigate their journey through a rapidly changing galaxy after the fall of the Republic. Watch as the heroes complete daring missions across the galaxy meeting friend and foe, both old and new along the way”.

I’m sure fans will be delighted that Clone Force 99 will be back on our screens in just under one months time, in addition to Andor which debuts just one week before with three episodes. Star Wars fans can also expect a third series this Fall in the form of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, an animated anthology series due to release sometime this Autumn but as of right now we don’t have a specific date. Personally I’d expect to see a new trailer for The Bad Batch and possibly the first trailer, along with a release date, for Tales of the Jedi, next week as part of Disney+ Day on September 8th.
