Hello there! Before we continue with the article I kindly ask you to consider showing your support and appreciation for my work by tipping me via my Ko-Fi page here. Tips are quite rare around these parts, but I assure you no matter how big or small, each tip is deeply appreciated. Now, let’s get on with the news!

With 2022 coming to an end, Disney, more specifically Disney+, is looking to next year and have released a promotional clip showcasing some of their biggest titles arriving on the streaming service in 2023. The newly released video promotes multiple Disney+ titles including Marvel Studios’ Secret Invasion and Loki season two, as well as Pixar’s Dug Days and Win or Lose, Peter Pan and Wendy, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and the Star Wars titles – The Bad Batch season two, The Mandalorian season three, and Ahsoka.

The footage for Mando is taken from the teaser trailer that was released back in September at the D23 Expo, but according to a report from MakingStarWars last month, an official trailer for the third season is due to release on December 25th. The footage from The Bad Batch shown in the promotional clip is taken from the trailer released earlier this month, and reactions from critics who’ve seen fourteen episodes of the second season has been vastly positive. The most interesting piece of footage from the Disney promotional clip is a brief shot of Ahsoka Tano taken from the Ahsoka series.

The clip isn’t anything special, it simply shows our hero pulling back her hood which reveals her face. The footage was first shown at Star Wars Celebration back in May, and though that footage leaked online in low quality, this is our first official look at Ahsoka footage, even if very brief.

Noticeably absent from the promotional video is the Star Wars series, Skeleton Crew, which is due to release sometime in 2023, with the expectation being the series will debut in the latter half of the year. Though the promotional clip is designed to advertise various shows and movies arriving on the streaming service next year, it only really showcases projects releasing within the first half with Marvel Studios also missing two series slated to release in 2023, Iron Heart and Echo. The lack of Skeleton Crew in my opinion is nothing to be worried about, and we’ll likely receive a significant update on the series in under four months time at Star Wars Celebration.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch season two is due to release on January 4th, The Mandalorian season three is slated to release on March 1st, and both Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew are slated to release sometime in 2023.
