According to a new report from Collider, the upcoming Disney+ live-action Star Wars series, The Acolyte, has set a tentative release date of June 5th, 2024, though Disney did not confirm or deny the reported date when contacted by Collider.

The report from Collider follows an exclusive report of my own from September, when I revealed the High Republic era series was looking to release in the Summer of this year. My report from the time also exclusively revealed that Skeleton Crew, a live-action Star Wars series from Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, had been delayed from Fall 2023 to Fall 2024 (around November) and that Andor season two had been delayed from the Summer of 2024 to early 2025.

If the reported release date of June 5th is correct, then we could see a trailer for the series release in sometime in March. Lucasfilm debuted a trailer for the series in April of last year during Star Wars Celebration, but said trailer was not released to the public.

The Acolyte, which is set during the High Republic era, will follow a former padawan and her Jedi master as they investigate a series of crimes, but encounter forces more sinister than what they’ve imagined. The series stars Amandla Stenberg (Bodies, Bodies, Bodies) as the lead, as well as Lee Jung Jae (Squid Game), Dafne Keen (His Dark Materials), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Jodie Turner-Smith (After Yang), Charlie Bennett (Russian Doll), Rebecca Henderson (Inventing Anna), Dean Charles Chapman (1917), Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix) and Margarita Levieva (Daredevil: Born Again)
