Actor Dane DiLiegro spoke with The Direct on the rep carpet for his latest film, Imaginary. Just as expected with all actors attached to a Star Wars project, DiLiegro was of course asked about the Star Wars project he’s been linked with, Skeleton Crew. The actor didn’t share much about his role, just that he took part in a “really cool sequence” and that his character wouldn’t be anything “substantial.” However, the most interesting tidbit from the actor came when asked about the release on the series. DiLiegro didn’t share any specifics, but thinks it could release in the Fall of this year.

I’m hoping by the fall. If I were to guess. That’s completely surmising. There’s no information behind that. I know that Lucasfilm likes to release things around November-ish. So I’m hoping by then. I’ve been meaning to reach out to our director, David Lowery – he’s a friend of mine. But yeah, I don’t know. We’ll see. Maybe November. I know Lucasfilm is due for something pretty cool. And I think ‘Skeleton Crew’ might be that thing.”

DiLiegro’s comments follows a report of mine from September where I first broke that Skeleton Crew had been delayed into 2024 despite the series initially being planned for a Holiday 2023 release. In the same September report, I shared exclusively that from what I had been told, Skeleton Crew had been delayed by an entire year and would hit our screens in November 2024. In late November 2023, MakingStarWars backed up by report and added that he too had now heard that the series would air after Halloween 2024. Though Miheim doesn’t know when Skeleton Crew will air, he seems to think sometime in the Fall, which only adds for fuel to past reports of a November 2024 release.

My aforementioned report from September also exclusively shared that The Acolyte would release this Summer – Collider reported a few weeks ago that the series is looking to release on June 5th. And that Andor season two had been delayed into early 2025 – Germain Lussier of Gizmodo/iO9 shared that he believes the second and final season will release in 2025 back in December.
