Star Wars Galactic Racer and Star Wars Zero Company are going to be a force to be reckoned with when they release in the coming months. A new report has revealed just how much anticipation there is for the upcoming Star Wars games in comparison to the plethora of big new releases still to come this year.
As we all know, the gaming space is going to be dominated by Grand Theft Auto 6 at the end of this year. However, dozens of games across all sorts of genres are releasing before it and will be popular in their own right. For the first time in many, many years Star Wars has two console and PC games coming out in the same calendar year.
There has been some misconceptions from select Star Wars fans that because these two games are of a niche genre, they simply won’t sell many copies. Well, the preliminary data is in and it’s looking really good for both Star Wars Zero Company and in particular Galactic Racer.
Video Views And Wishlist Data

According to a new report from The Game Business (via LevelUp Analytics data), both Star Wars games are charting within the top 20 most anticipated games based on trailer views and article count.
In terms of trailer views earned in 2026 only, Star Wars Galactic Racer has achieved 44.3 million views. That makes it the sixth most watched title. It’s only trails The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, CoD MW4, Marvel’s Token & Wolverine and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. That’s quite an impressive feat.
Another datapoint is video views from content creators and such across social media. Star Wars Galactic Racer makes the list in 10th place with 121 million for 2026 so far. As for article count for 2026, it came in 10th place with over 2100 posts written about it. Meanwhile Star Wars Zero Company came in 16th with 1600.
Additionally, Star Wars Galactic Racer is the 4th most wishlisted game on IGN. It was just below The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, Control: Resonant and Wolverine. On Valve’s Steam platform (via Game DiscoverCo), Star Wars Zero Company has been added to over 633,000 wishlists. Galactic Racer did not make the top 10 charts. It is expected Zero Company will be more popular on the PC platform due to its tactics nature.
Taking A Deeper Look

This goes to show both of these games especially Galactic Racer are setting themselves up for success in a stacked gaming season. Clearly the marketing for Galactic Racer has been good. Meanwhile Zero Company has been a little bit more lackluster but that will soon change as gameplay previews are coming in less than two weeks.
It’s also really interesting to see the difference in approach. Galactic Racer is being published by a small, independent, UK-based publisher named Secret Mode. Galactic Racer is their biggest project ever. In contrast, the $50 billion-valued, mega-publisher that is EA marketing Zero Company and this is a small title for them.
All that remains now is for both of the games to stick their landing and launch positively.
