We sense a disturbance in the Force. Star Wars Battlefront 2 has a newly announced date for this year’s Resurgence Day. The community is gearing up to make history yet again.
What is Star Wars Battlefront 2 Resurgence Day?
For those unaware of what a Battlefront 2 Resurgence is, the community-led event is a way to show Lucasfilm, Disney and video game publishers the need for a new entry in the best selling Star Wars game franchise. It also offers a chance for new players to see what the game and community is all about including bringing attention to Kyber, the new launcher for the game that expands its offerings beyond belief.
The first iteration of this event was extremely successful leading to hundreds of thousands of concurrent players across several days and even at least more than a million new copies sold. The desire for a new Star Wars Battlefront game was felt across the world and within the walls of corporations where decisions on Star Wars’ future are made.
Making 100,000 Players Feel Like A Million
In a new blog post, the Kyber team have revealed the plans for Resurgence much like last year. On Saturday May 23rd, all troopers should deploy on the Battlefront. Save the date and spread the word. It will take place all day and on all platforms: Xbox, PC and PlayStation. Simply playing the game on this day and throughout May is going to contribute.
