A cinematic from an earlier version of the Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake has leaked. It has been almost 5 years since we last saw anything official from the KOTOR Remake so it has been up to small leaks giving us a glimpse of what was once in development at Aspyr.
Whilst the game still remains in active development at Saber Interactive, this is a rebooted version that is different from what was originally intended. Now we have our first look at the game in action in terms of its cutscenes. The teaser trailer does not count given it was an an pre-rendered clip not from the game itself.
As spotted by mp1st, an early in-development cinematic from the start of the game can now be viewed. This cinematic is untextured, lacks proper animations, is full of placeholders and uses temporary voice lines. That said, it is still fun to take a look at what could have been.
Cinematic Details
It depicts both the player and Trask Ulgo walking through the damaged corridors of the Endar Spire. Shortly after a couple of shots, Carth Onasi calls Trask via hologram. A T3-series utility droid can be seen assessing the fires. An explosion in the hull of the ship sucks everything out of the corridor into space except for the playter and Trask who are holding on for dear life. Trask saves the pair by pressing a button to close a door. The two characters talk and then go onto find Carth Onasi.

There is seemingly a seamless transition into 3rd person gameplay. This game was previously said to be a more akin to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order in its gameplay. A big change in this version of KOTOR is that the player has a voice whereas in the original game you would a silent protagonist. You can watch the full cinematic below courtesy of mp1st.
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Remake is in deep development at Mad Head Games and Saber Interactive. We would hope to see it be re-revealed at some point later this year.
